Alright, I was looking through the past few pages and I couldn't find anything about this, so I'll share it here.

CCP is releasing a new Godzilla figure, a 2002 GMK model to be exact - http://www.ccp.jp/b_club/vol2_3.html#gmk

Looks pretty good. I know some of us have less than desirable opinions about Steve Agin, but his article in the latest G-Fan mentions this as well as a new reissue of the Godzilla vs. Crawling Hedorah set from CCP as well.

I gotta tell you, if I have some extra cash this summer, I definitely want to make an effort to try to pick these two up, and maybe that '64 with the Mothra biting his tail if I can find one.

I might even have to put some Bandai's off for a bit - this looks really cool.

The '64 Mothra vs Godzilla figure is definitely one to pick up, as long as you can find the normal version. It's a really nice toy but getting harder to find.

I remember hearing about the CCP GMK Godzilla a while back. Honestly, I'm not feeling it. I just don't like that pose at all. I don't really know if this is going to be something I'd bother to pick up. I buy the Heisei/Milennium stuff that Marmit puts out but really I'm just a showa guy all the way. I'd rather have a really nice 1973 Godzilla than another GMK Godzilla. The Bandai GMK Godzilla suits me fine in the realism department and the M-1 GMK figure is a really sweet vintage-style sculpt. That's all I need.

The pose is fine by me. I could do with something beyond just the figure standing straight up and looking forward.

And I seem to recall that Godzilla in GMK was constantly bringing his tail upward while leaning forward. There is nothing wrong at all about this toy's pose. If there was a Baragon to go with him, it'd be perfect, especially if that Baragon were looking up at him.

Ok, I was wondering why that Baragon was so funny. I found a much better pic of it and edited my post. Sorry 'bout that.

Here's the 1st pic:
