Of the G films Classic Media has, the only one that really had a worthwhile 5.1 remix on its R2 release was Mothra vs. Godzilla (which I must admit sounds FANTASTIC). The others either had a terrible echoing effect (Monster Zero), sounded odd and unnatural (Ghidorah, Revenge, Terror), or no remix at all (Godzilla, GRA). And don't expect CM to be re-releasing another MvsG DVD edition just to add on the 5.1 track, ever.

But it's really not a big deal at all. These movies were filmed and recorded in mono and they sound just as crystal-clear in 2.0 on the R2 DVDs as they would have when they were originally released to Japanese theaters. All of CM's releases have/will have these original mono tracks, so it's all good.
