^Despite the bellyband issue, the material the cases are made out of give an impression of quality (also; it is shiny, and people like shiny things), but on a whole I don't think special packaging phases people anymore.

Just gor GRA and Godzilla vs. The Thing over the weekend. I must have watched the latter one 4-5 times already. Excellent discs, guys. Really, everyone that worked on them deserves our debt and appreciation, because Godzilla movies have rarely, if ever, gotten this kind of treatment in the states. And seeing as how I haven't seen either of these movies in over a year (partly because I watch all kinds of movies, but also I was waiting for these DVDs), it was a real treat to revisit them, especially Godzilla vs. The Thing, which is, at this point, to my taste, the best Godzilla movie of the entire series. My only, little gripe I have is that you guys couldn't use the original title for the American version of GRA. I was a bit surprised to see that video-copied title card. But of course, that's probably something you guys couldn't help, so there's no hard feelings.
Like I said, great discs! CANNOT WAIT for Ghidrah and Monster Zero.
