Actually, I don't think they've even thought about that.....I mean, to my knowledge, they haven't even released Chou Denshi Bioman or Maskman...

But the way things are going, we might see it soon. If they know what's good for them, They'll release the series on DVD WITH the movies attached to it.

I hate to say it, but Dr.Kain's right. :? :(

The next best thing would be for TV-Nihon or OddSentai to begin subbing the series...but I doubt that'll be anytime soon.

TV-Nihon only has Eps. 1-10 subbed, while Youtube has the Card Joker movie Subtitled....

There're some RAW eps. up on Youtube and believe it or not....NO KIBARANGER.  When the heck did he debut in the series? Halfway through the last month of it? I've watched up to Ep. 25 RAW and no Kiba...Maybe I'm missing something.

Or maybe....this is a devine intervention telling me not to see it because Kiba's actually a little kid, and if it's anything like Turbo Blue....I'm not gonna like what I see. :(

20, 23, 25.....

all three've been split and 23's missing the second half..... :(

Just out of curiosity, what was the official explanation for his creation in the show? I think I read that Kou was some decendant of the same tribe as Ryou and Rin, so he had powers, but wasn't old enough to use them or something like that...

You actually have the WHOLE THING? I've been trying to D/L the TV-Nihon subs of 1 - 10 but haven't had any luck....Then I got them from Youtube, but they look crappy and I can't even see the subs because I coded them at 320 x 240..... :(

BTW, GekiRanger Ep. 4 sounds awesome, with Rio finally showing what he's made of....though:

Image

Everyone over at Rangerboard who's seen Digimon season 4 agrees - This has a very close resemblance to Lowemon.....How I know that really disturbs me. :?

Either that or Flashbacks of Gaoranger and Garo. :P

At least we get the promise of Master Shafu showcasing his Kung Fu Fighting next episode....Should be interesting!

No, the Gorma rebirth is not what I'm referring to with Kou. :-p

Hey, check out what I just got in the mail that I won off ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1

It is so awesome.

And I don't think HVH is in business anymore.

As for your episodes, well,

20 - KibaRanger battles Shadam's son who tricked him by disguising himself as a girl with a mother that absolutely hates her, just to get Kou's goat due to Kou not knowing where his mother is.

23 - Daigo (green) is trapped inside of a monster with Kajuka that is burning everything to the ground.

25 - Features a monster that is a copy machine and makes duplicates of the DaiRangers.

20 - Yeah - I got a hint of Kiba in 20, since I got see Kou, but the freakin' video stops by itself at the 3 min. mark......:(

23 - I saw Daigo go in the beast....but not out of it. :(

25 - I saw the slot monster, but because of my flash plugin, like 20, it stops shortly afterwards.

The popy book is... whoa. It's a hefty price, though. But if you collect it, I guess it's a fine decision. That's the book that contains all artwork and advertising and such about the show, correct? Even Character biographies.....

Yeah, I tried to win one once, but the price was too high.....

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's official - we have a KR Den-O/GekiRanger double feature movie on the way this summer:

Image

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it seems that GekiPhant, GekiBat, and GekiShark will be the main attractions for this one. for Den-O, it seems he gains a new suit or something, and an ally, but that's not what we're here for, right? :P

Image

Enter the Geki-Bazooka and the Geki Saber!!!!:

So Jan gets some new toys to play with! That could be a bad thing.....:P

Super Sentai movies usually work in one of three ways -
one - a team up
two - a tribute
three - an adventure SOooooo huge, it needs to be a movie.

By a Team-Up, I mean those like "MagiRanger vs Dekaranger" where two sentai teams band together under circumstances beyond the show's control, to stop a greater evil from one or both shows. The only time two sentai teams actuall fought each other was Carranger vs Megaranger, where the two teams actually fought each other.

By Tribute, it means that it's a movie meant to acknowledge the existence of past rangers, even those long gone/passed on. This usually occurs like a team up, except that the rangers in queastion are tought by the old rangers lessons on life and how to deal with it. It's amusing to see how old rangers go on with their daily lives after their series' end, and one of the reasons why these movies are interesting to watch - you never know how teams end up(or just end:wink:)

By Huge Adventure, I mean "longer episode". These usually have higher levels of special effects, CG, and Fight choreography, to the point that it warrants a movie. Usually, a late, yet powerful crony appears to do something against earth, usually to take someone hostage, deliver a message at all costs, steal something of the rangers', or just as a showcase of a Giant Robo, Mecha, or Upgrade that NEEDS to debut in a movie and nowhere else. Also, in these movies, they explore more drama than the show does, like a ranger telling someone they like them(and having to save them from something fatal to boot), family issues, and personal issues....Like "Dekaranger: Full Blast".

Other good examples of these are "The Magiranger Movie" and "Boukenger: The Greatest Precious". In both these movies, some outside individual is taken and the rangers must attempt to rescue them before time runs out and the bad guy wins. Interestingly enough, in both these movies, Red runs someone over with a vehicle/moving object.....:P

Well, you know what's wierd? The Thai forums I've been to label it as "Den-O X GekiRanger".

I can't translate most of what they say, but it leads me to believe, and I might be crazy for saying this, that it might be a Geki-Den-O team-up....At least that's what J-Hero's boards and Thai-toku's boards feel like.

I dunno - like you said - The rider movies tend to be "for the fans" in that they have absolutely nothing to do with the show; they're just there to give you another perspective on the heroes you know.

As much as I hate to admit it, if some day, TOEI decided on such a team up, that'd be a big deal. Kamen the 1st did it against Ultraman  , Saban tag-teamed the Rangers and Black/Black RX/ZO, so why wouldn't Den-O or any future Rider be exempt from a crossover?

Just food for thought. All that detective work just gives me headaches. Plus, I've been trying to make a new avatar out of the Dairanger opening, and nothing I do works...this sucks. :? :D :P
