One of my personal favorite Ultraman series. The show has a variety of different themes and styles, from serious and melancholy to silly and fun. I also enjoy the training formula that is constant during the first twenty or so episodes.
PLOT:
Leo is from Nebula L77, but flees once his home world is obliterated. Seeking revenge, Leo follows a Magma Seijin to Earth, where he witnesses the Magma Seijin and two other kaiju brutally beating Ultra Seven. Leo intervenes and saves Ultra Seven. After doing so, Ultra Seven can no longer fight due to the wounds of the battle (Aswell as his henshin device burning up) so he begins to train Leo (Who assumes a human identity like Ultra Seven), and enlists him into the M. A. C. (Monster Attack Crew); which Dan Moroboshi (Ultra Seven) leads.
