Though I initially laughed at the thought of "Rocky Balboa" (and I'm a fan of the series), after watching the trailer I also have placed faith in the idea. While I still believe that the series came full circle rather well with "Rocky V" (yes, I liked part 5 even though it is undeniably the weakest entry in the series), I am looking forward to part 6, partially because I've never really felt let down by any of the first 5 films (I think they've all got something to offer, with my fave being "Rocky III"), and because (even though I'm 29) this will be the only Rocky movie I've ever seen in the theaters! And thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out! :th-up:

Behind Casino Royale, this is one movie I have been extremely excited about. When I heard they got Tarver to play Mason Dixon, I knew that there was going to be a great final fight. Its kind of got that original Rocky feel to it of everything being against you, and stepping up. It's gonna be a HUGE movie.

Meredith was in the 5th movie but only in flashbacks. All the guys at my kickboxing/boxing/MMA school are really looking forward to it. Stallone kind of makes fun of the age thing which is cool.
