Mr. G,

Do you have a subscription or should I order these issues one by one? And how much do they cost?

Ed, Issue #11 sounds great, can't wait to see it. I just dropped an order for two copies of #10 in the mail today. I finally saw the Rialto Godzilla this past weekend in Norfolk with my brother and his two kids. They enjoyed the film, so I ordered the extra issue for them. :D

If you still have a lot of #10 to move, perhaps another mention on some of the other boards may help remind folks it's still available. That teaser for #11 may help get sales moving too.

Anyway, thanks for a great magazine.

Hi Ed,
I mailed off a money order over a month ago for JG 10 and haven't received it yet. Couldn't find an email address to contact you on so I posted here.

Hi, Ed...

I made a few posts complaining about the cover price being $8. However, after talking to some of the people here who give your magazine rave reviews I retracted my statement about the price being too high. I hope my comments (which seem to have been removed) haven't cost you any sales. It wasn't my intent at all. I just wanted to know if the magazine truly was worth the cover price. Judging by people's responses here...I guess the answer must be yes!

I agree I have decided to get 9 if I still can. For 8 bucks its nearly a steal. Such a great source of info. Here's to issue 11 :)

For G fans in Southern CA, you can get JG 9 and 10 at Anime Jungle as they were selling both last time I was there....

They're wonderful English sources that *gasp* actually cover the films (and not just focusing on Godzilla's "meaning to Society"....god I am sick of books like that). Issue 10 in particular is a wonderful retrospective on G's 50th bday and the original that started it all, with rarely seen screen shots, interviews, and new tidbits of info not widely known. The only minor complaint I have is there are quite a few bad grammer and spelling typos/errors, but the same can be said for GFan and numerous other fanzines. I sincerely hope there will be an issue 11 covering WOTG and FCTW. It would also be great to see a JG issue on GFW similar to their GMK issue, but consider Ed's and other's opinions on it, I doubt that would happen in this life time

As some mentioned earlier, I find it hard to believe that people are complaining about these being $8 as too expensive, but yet they wouldn't blink an eye to buy even the crappiest Bandai figure for much more.

Well, AT LAST I have squared away the paypal thing...you can now order Japanese Giants using Paypal. Send payments to:

japanesegiants@yahoo.com

In order to fully cover the postage costs (which are actually $2.21), I am regretfully raising the amount for postage to $2.25, so the new total for issues #7,9, and 10 is $10.25 each ($8 plus $2.25 postage). I hope this will help for those of you who prefer not to use or don't have access to checks or money orders.

Ed G.

Does anybody know how to get in touch with Ed or somebody else connected to JG? I ordered the latest issue back on Oct. 10 and here it is the 3rd of November and I've not recieved it yet. I've emailed a couple times and not gotten a reply. Anybody know what's up?
