As far as raw power goes it's probably a toss-up between the XBOX 360 and PS3, in part because they require the extra power to push all the data needed to display high defenition visuals.

Aside from the control scheme [and flipping the 'map'/'game so Link fights right handed so as to mirror how most folks will use Wii controllers], yes the Wii and GCN versions of Twilight Princess will be the same. There's no difference graphics wise.

Super Paper Mario is still slated to release as a Gamecube game.

Please remember that the Wii is fully backwards compatible with the Gamecube, so keep ahold of some GCN controllers and you'll have no problems playing Super Paper Mario the GCN version of Twilight Princess on it, or any other GCN game you're interested in.

The Wii version of Twilight Princess supports the Wii controller and 16x9, I'm not sure if it supports 480p or not, but most Wii launch games do.

Yes, the Wii is technologically superior to the Gamecube and will deliver visuals that ultimately the GCN can not match.

Twilight Princess was originally only going to be a Gamecube game, but the fan response during development was great enough that Nintendo decided to develop a Wii gameplay set-up. So with LoZ Twilight Princess, the primary selling point for the Wii version is using the Wii remote and nunchuk to control the game instead of an old-style controller.

As for multi-console releases - first off can even you afford the $1000 investment needed to buy an XBOX 360 and a PS3? {that's before you purchase any games or accesories for either system} If you can you don't really need my advice.

The PS3 and X360 are pretty much tied 'power'-wise. It's possible that 5/6 years down the road the PS3 will offer somewhat better visuals than the X360, but by then there's an excellent chance that the next Nintendo {and maybe even Microsoft} consoles will be coming out soon. The PS3 is marked down under cost quite a bit and Sony will likely have to keep it active longer than the PS2 before balancing the books on it, Sony execs have even touted a "10 year life span" several times.

I think the PS3 has more potential power than the 360, but I read some reviews comparing the graphics in the two systems, and the 360 keeps coming out on top.

As for Twilight Princess, thats a good question. You'd think it would have improved graphics, but it doesn't.

I believe Super Paper Mario is now a Wii game, and it was on a list of Wii games given out by Nintendo of Japan.
