Oh damn, woah woah woah hold on a second, I completely missed the part of Keith's first page post where he said that it's only the American version that's cropped! Oh man, I seriously don't even know how I didn't pick that up either since I re-read it at least 3 or 4 times (maybe it's time to check my glasses' prescription)! :lol:

Well that certainly changes everything, as long as the Japanese version is presented in its OAR then I've got no problems at all. Wow, talk about dodging a bullet, I really felt like I'd been kicked in the unmentionables there for a minute. Phew! :lol:

I have a question. Which Japanese version are we going to be seeing on the disc for Mothra vs. Godzilla? I have seen two versions, one that's just the straight Japanese production, and then another where the Frontier Missle sequence is spliced in through moderately-clever scene-shifting. I don't know if the latter version is just something that Toho did for a re-release, or what, but I was thinking about that the other day.

Sorry if this question has already been answered. I haven't been following this thread regularly.

The Cover Art for these next 2 releases look great I can't wait to get them. I wonder when Classic Media plans on adding more updates to their website for these next 2 releases. I hope that these 2 discs have great menus like on the Gojira set. I also hope that the discs look good and the Bellybands. Who else can't wait to get these?
