Info on Godzilla theatrical print sources for R1 DVDs

I got thinking about this yesterday as I finally watched for the first time my copy of Godzilla Vs The Sea Monster which came out awhile back. I simply could not and still can't believe how INCREDIBLE the print looked! I mean honestly I caught myself looking at the picture instead of watching the film because it looked as if it was shot yesterday. It's shown exactly what technology can do these days, especially considering the movie is over 4 decades old now.

With that in mind, I am asking all you guru's out there to help me get together a list of sources or information on prints that were used for various Godzilla DVDs. I would particularly be interested in where the prints from the following came from:

-Sony
Godzilla Vs The Sea Monster
Son Of Godzilla

Tristar:
Godzilla Vs Hedorah
Godzilla Vs Gigan
Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla

Universal:
King Kong Vs Godzilla (and why Toho didn't restore their film, both for this and their own release)

All sony/tristar dvds except for Godzilla vs. The Sea Monsters are remasters from international prints. I have no idea about Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster (maybe they just switched around titles so people would recognize it as a Godzilla movie?)

Universal's print was one that they restored from the American version and were previously used in festivals etc.
