The cropping is a big deal. It's worse than the cropping done by Sony to Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah and Godzilla vs. Mothra.

Godzilla vs The Thing being cropped is pretty disappointing, seeing that I am anal when it comes to seeing different versions of movies, especially ones with added scenes, being cropped. But it won't really bother me all that much. Hell, I'm really glad we're seeing a great looking, if cropped, version of MvsG! And to you guys who REALLY, REALLY wanted to see it in it's original widescreen composition, here's something for you:
Do you want a bucket-o-crap looking print like this...
...Or a new, ten-times better looking transfer with better, less faded colors and a great print? If you still feel bad the movie will be cropped, then go send MonstersHD a complaint letter. Blame them, not CM, whose been working there asses loose for literally 2 YEARS to make you happy seeing Godzilla movies on dvd!
