On the off chance that the original (and now huge) thread is causing database problems, I'm now going to close this one, and open this one. I'd already intended to do it and start separate threads for each set of releases.

This thread is for general discussion of Classic Media's releases of Godzilla (and other rumored tokusatsu) films in 2006 and beyond.

The following threads are for discussions and reviews on the specific sets of releases (will be edited as more information becomes available).

I'm just a little upset now that I wont be able to see a good looking version of Terror of Mechagodzilla for a while now. Oh well, I'll have it sooner or later.

To the guy in the old thread who was commenting on the fact they were "selling" the Gojira posters at G-Fest, the ones I saw for "sale" were $5 but it went towards charity (whatever the specific charity G-Fest does is, I forgot exactly). I bought one and got two more when J.D. was getting rid of the excess.

After taking another close look at these new cover designs for GRA and MvG, I just want to throw a great big "WELL DONE!" to the designer -- specifically whoever created the new "Godzilla" logos:

Really, these are brilliant, iconic logos and typefaces, right up there with the original kanji and the classic KOTM lettering we've all grown up with. The logo has been re-created a jillion times, but I think these new ones, especially the ones now appearing on GRA and MvG are really classic. Can't wait to get a really good scan of it and perhaps create my own t-shirt!
