You must show no mercy, nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you... for your greatness will silence them all!

I think Elfmans Batman theme is his best bar none. Very distinct themes and enjoyable to listen to. Hes been repeating himself ever since. However,I dont think they fit with the more realistic restrained Begins. Sorry I think whats his name's score is perfect. Now an elfman superman......

Superman Returns made 21 million in the BO.
I think that's pretty good considering it's Wednesday.
Could God himself microwave a burrito so hot that not even he could eat it?

Pauline was typical of being far too "thoughtful and eloquent" about something as harmless as the entertainment genre. And a clear case of a stuffy critic who has a massive disconnect with the rest of us. Hell every film we fanboys enjoy would be skewered by her. The Supes example is typical of being WAY too serious (and reading too much into)about something thats basicly a comic book. She would often inject ridiculous feminist angles or whatever other chip was on her shoulder at the time into her reviews. The New York times and Rolling Stone keep up her silly stuffed shirt tradition. I'm no fan of "Willow" but no wonder the villain was known as "General Kael". She was great at reviewing a Bergman film but totally lost in our genre.
Speaking of the useless job of "film critic", I was recently amazed that Ebert who recently seems to give EVERY film a thumbs up decided to break the streak by blasting-Supeman Returns!

only? That was an estimate up to friday-not including saturday or sunday. It's doing slightly better than Batman Begins and on par with War of the Worlds-if you care about that sort of thing.
And as of July 2 the estimate is now 84 million + so Id say wait before you say "weekend"(sunday totals are not solit yet)
