If I could just briefly continue on this off-topic track - what's so special about the Madman Beast Wars discs compared to the Rhino ones?

...oh snap. Madman clearly knows what they're doing with any kind of DVD release, Godzilla or otherwise. I'm glad Rhino took a page from their book when they finally put out the Beast Machines set, at least.

No, Destroy All Monsters most definitely doesn't use dubtitles.

I finally broke down, got the region free cyberhome dvd player and ordered my first madman disc being Godzilla vs Megalon. Question for you who have ordered from them before: Is it customary for them to ship the item out before the actual street date or do they do it the day it comes out?

Does the Gigan DVD have the cartoony bubbles when Godzilla and Anguirus speak?

I haven't recieved mine yet, but there's a 99.9% of that being 'yes' because they use the Japanese materials, and not the International crap that Sony uses.

Does GvMegalon feature English dubbing and Japanese w/ subs? (I ask because occasionally I prefer English dubbing to fall asleep to)

All the discs with the exception of INVASION OF ASTRO-MONSTER (which is sub only) and GODZILLA 2000 (dub only) are bilingual. However, their MEGALON disc includes a seperate version for each. From what I've heard, you can either watch it uncut with subtitles or watch the shorter edited version with the english dub.

Is the G2000 release the version I would have seen in theaters and on the R1 DVD or is it the Japanese version?

As I wrote up above, GODZILLA 2000 only contains the U.S. version.

EDIT: Also, someone posted that the price on these has dropped to 14.95 but everyone of them is 24.95 when I look on madman's site...

Looks like you missed the sale. Also, you should probably take into consideration that Australian dollars are different than U.S. dollars.
