That is incorrect. They've said there will be issues with some titles, similar to the PS2's troubles with some PS1 games.

About 98% of of the PS1 and PS2 games will work.

It is still the point of thematter. We should not have to find ways around technology, for technology should be advancing for what is best for the public. Not allowing the sale of used games is total bull**** and goes against the consumer's right to freedom. What if you buy a game that turns out to be ****? It means you just wasted $60-70 on a piece of crap that you'd have to sell on ebay since no store will take it. And if Sony puts in that bs chip that won't allow a game to be played on any other system but the one it was first played on, you can't even do that. Blu-Ray is the next Beta Max.

It really annoys me when casual gamers I know just automatically assume the P$3 is going to be the most powerful thing ever conceived by man. It just shows how the term "Playstation" has entered the public conscience much like the "Nintendo" did in the 80s. I guy I work with tried to tell me the other day that the P$3 was developed with help from the U.S. Army and thats why its going to be so powerful. I didn't even correct him, whats the point?
