Revelation of the Daleks is also getting released that day, not as strong a story as Genesis but entertaining none the less.

^Yeah, it's my favorite Colin Baker story! I'm getting both that and Genesis the day they come out, hopefully.

Then in a few months they're releasing Inferno over here in the U.S. of A. I haven't seen it before, and it's supposed to be one of the best Pertwee stories, so I'm excited

I've been collecting Doctor Who DVDs for the past year. In fact, I got Androids of Tara yesturday, and Tombs of the Cybermen two weeks prior. Now if they'd just release my all-time favorite Doctor Who epp; "The Deadly Assassin"!

Yeah I got Genesis on dvd last month when it came out in the UK, it's a quality release. The two main documentaries are really good and Tom Baker's still as endearingly barmy as ever, bless him (). :D

Currently the original series release date schedules for Regions 1 & 2 look like this:

Region 2
Inferno - June 19th
The Hand of Fear - July 31st (date subject to change)
The Mark of the Rani - September 4th (date subject to change)

Region 1
Genesis of the Daleks - June 6th
Revelation of the Daleks - June 6th
Inferno - September 5th
The Web Planet - September 5th

I might pick up Inferno since like lhb412 I haven't seen it but have heard nothing but good things but other than that I'm not that interested in any of the other (R2) releases on there (although I might be persuaded to get The Hand of Fear depending on what I read about it during the runup to its release since that would be another blind buy too).

*Continues to keep his fingers crossed that next year we might see the release(s) of something along the lines of Terror of the Zygons, Doctor Who and the Silurians, The Sea Devils, The Brain of Morbius, The Deadly Assassin, Planet of Evil or The Invasion (I know it's incomplete but I don't care, it needs a dvd release dammit! :P ).

Oh and I wouldn't mind a dvd release of Death to the Daleks either. Childhood fave :D *
