Nice DVD! After watching it, it feels like you've seen at least a good 15 minutes of the movie! And I would agree that the SFX look much better here than they do on the online trailer; yes, as good as GMMG. The opening sequence with Papa vs the Gayos looks awesome.

I noticed something hilarious in the full trailer I hadn't noticed before, when the knife falls from the shelf onto the floor with Toto below. A nice little tribute, perhaps?

Also got the soundtrack today, which was actually quite nice, despite Hajime's review. The music from the opening sequence is very cool, the remix of "Eternal Love" is nice, and the little sound tributes to the older Gamera films (roars, clips and the old Gamera March song) are a nice touch!
