I like it whenever there is a rockslide in any of the Showa era films. Also, the different pitches for the machine guns the Red Bamboo used in Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster. I always thought that signified rank or the strength of a particular weapon, or something! All of those sound effects were great back then. You hear the same ones in non-fantasy Toho films as well.

Yeah, the tire screeching it one that always made me cringe. Espically when they are on dirt!!!! LMAO Also, the explosions seemed to sound like overblown versions of the sound the guns would make. Same sound, different tone, just slowed down a bit.

The generic slime-hitting-something sound. You hear is a ton in GvsHedorah, some in Biollante and whenever Battra gets gnawed on.

I just want to point out how annoying the same exact 'explosion' sound effect got at the end of "Rodan" and in "Destroy All Monsters".
