Jidas just keeps looking better and better, while Gamera (if that's who this cuddly stuffed animal is) just looks more and more ridiculous.

IMO, Jidas would have been a great opponent for the Kaneko Gamera. I can imagine some really great, violent battles between those two.

*sigh* Jidas just keeps looking better with each new pic, but unfortunately, Gamera Junior continues to look worse and worse the more we see of him. His eyes are terrible, in the same likeness as Baby Godzilla from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II. And in the top right corner of that ^ pic, the suit's face looks terribly hard and plastic-like, a problem which plagued many of the kaiju of the later Heisei Godzilla movies.

Sadly, this movie is really looking like it's going to be Rebirth of Mothra quality. A story aimed at kids with a leading cast of children characters, a star kaiju looking terrible and being given ridiculous treatment of it's character, and a badass-as-hell villain kaiju who is far too cool for the movie he's in. This describes Rebirth of Mothra in a nutshell, and it's sadly looking like it's coming to describe The Tiniest Heroes: Gamera too. I expected this from the beginning, so I can't say I'm feeling let down or disappointed. But still, it's disheartening to see Gamera's return look like it's going to be as "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" as the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy.

Well, I for one still have hopes for it, as I've said before, the fact that it's shaping up to be more of a "kid friendly" movie (as opposed to Kaneko's trilogy) is good news to me. And (kind of off subject), not to sound nit-picky, but is there anyway that people on here can start making their posted pics not take up quite so much room, it really is annoying having to scroll back and forth from one side to the other to read peoples' posts. :roll:

Awesome! Baby Gamera doesn't look nearly as weird now that I can see daddy!

I love how this film isn't a continuation of the Heisei trilogy yet it still seems to be paying tribute to it by having a big Gamera/Gyaos final battle to kick it off!

EDIT: (Heh... and how much this new Gamera is like Tama-chan from Love Hina! XD)

Looks like the adult Gamera has taken something of a beating from the Gyaos. Can't wait to see more of this film!
