WAIT... Ok, from what I understand this argument is over the first 6 ultra shows? Ultraman max isn't one of those shows. How can Chaiyo mess this up?
Is it because he is similar to Ultraseven?

No, it's not like that. One part is (most likely) due to Tiga's poor performance on Fox as well as the DVD sales. The other, I suppose, is that Tsuburaya wants to hold off on other Ultraman merchandising until the Chaiyo thorn is out of their sides.

MAX features classic kaiju from the early Ultra Series, so Tsuburaya doesn't want to market the series internationally until Chaiyo is out of the way.
