Yup the dub was handled by Peter Fernandez and his crew, the same people behind many of the Showa dubs and Speed Racer. The dub kept all the Japanese character and kaiju names intact. The stories also followed the original Japanese plot accurately. This was do to the fact that they actually had correct translations. The dialog may not match very closely, but that was do to the voice actors trying to match the lip movements as much as possible.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fernandez and he is a very polite and humble man. He was willing to answer questions and talk about his experience dubbing shows, explaining how it worked back then. In Speed Racer he had no support, he had to watch the episode and make a script up for himself, then dub it, all in about a weeks time. Tsuburaya gave him much more support which made the dubs allot more true to the original.
I hope they have the dub, the original track, and hopefully some commentary tracks with Mr. Fernandez.
