Man, Jidas looks DANG cool...however, I will agree that his head and body are oddly out-of-proportion, and he looks very "man-in-suit," even moreso that other kaiju flicks.
Aside from those arms and legs, Jidas looks very, VERY awsome. Any word on Bandai figures yet?

The more I look at him, the more he looks like a mutant chameleon to me, which makes the massive head/smaller body look about right, if you think about it. Was't he rumoured earlier to be some sort of chameleon mutation, anyway? That would also make sense of the early-early rumors of Barugon's return to the screen, because he was a chameleon too, no?

I kinda like Jidas' look. The head reminds very much of the Godzillasaurus. I wish they'd done the body more massive like the concept art. The skinny legs make it awkward for me, but maybe I'll dig it more later on.

Jidas looks good so far. The head keeps reminding me of the dragon from the 7th Voyage of Sinbad. Unfortunately Gamera looks rather pathetic in comparison.

Maybe the producers are playing a trick on us. Maybe Gamera will be killed halfway through the movie resulting in a series of JIDAS films. One can dream.
