IMO, if you want something different return Kameo and wait for DOA. PDZ's good for a little while and if shooters are your taste, try COD2 instead.
Now, I'll admit - DOA's always been hit-or-miss, you either like what you get or hate it. So I suggest looking into it first, then making your honest decision.
BTW, Since I couldn't go Sunday, I tried to go yesterday, early in the morning to the Best Buy I preordered at.
I didn't get it, buuuuuuuuuut.......I got that refund+bonus!!!!
The same manager who spoke to me the first time was actually tthere putting up their weekly flyers and he sorta remembered me. He told me that there weren't many people, but all their 360s were sold out. I showed him the paper that said If I didn't get mine then, I'd get a refund and a $250 gift card(he actually wrote that part himself and singed it.).
He laughed and looked at me for a while(mind you, I looked pretty pissed off) then asked me to follow him to a register where he did everything, and then asked me to give him the XBOX to try it, so we did and he saw that it wouldn't turn on, then some guys from games brought in a NEW power cord and a NEW HD, and turn it on...but it didn't get past the XBOX logo. They actually WAITED a while and it wouldn't get off the screen. Eventually, after another HD change, they gave up, and after almost two hours of that nonsense, he gave me my refund and my $250 gift card......
Now with that, I was able to buy a PS2 with 4 games, two Sony memory cards, and two extra controllers....
So either way, I still got a new system for christmas and didn't have to wait for a freakin' 360......
