Picked up the Christmas ornament today and all I can say is, wow is this thing cool! One of the best Stateside items I've seen yet.

The people at Carlton Cards told me they thought they would receive more Godzilla ornaments sometime this month, (Fortunately I already have one for myself but I considered getting one for a friend) so I am not sure how true that is but you may luck out and find one at retail still...

The ornament is sweet and I hope it's just a first of many!

As for toy purchases for me lately I have picked up:
Mechagodzilla 2003 DX electronic 12"
Mechagodzilla 2003 Chogokin

both about 45% off :)

Found a 8" Godzilla 1992 at a thrift store for 50 cents! The end of the tail is missing but for that price I can live with it. Also picked up an Imperial Godzilla for 50 cents at the thrift store but I plan on customizing it. Strangely again the tail is missing. :D Also got a plush American Godzilla there.

And I won auctions for 1993 Horizon Godzilla (15") and 1998 Ultimate Godzilla last night so as long as those go through OK it's good.

Just bought a repaint of the Konami Gamera figures that were released a year ago. I managed to get Gamera and boy is the figure sweet! :D

The repainted figure seems to be less textured and warty than the original release. I'll post some pics of the figure shortly.

Here are my most recent acquisitions (none of these pics are mine, so I've just linked to them instead of displaying them as inline images):

Black Toygraph Transforming Hedorah ('Goth' version)
I haven't cared for the other versions, but I was surprised by this black one and it really stands out. The pic from the link below is a little too bright and IMO doesn't do it justice:

Black CCP Hedorah
I got one of the glow versions a while back and love the sculpt, so I knew I wanted to get the original. It's been going for some really high prices but I was pleased with the price I got:

Slash Popy reissue Gigan - blue glow
Gorgeous paint job. Really highlights this nice figure:

Orange Marusan Titanosaurus
A weird sculpt. Too bulky. However this is a really eye-catching paint scheme which I like a lot:

Marmit Monster Heaven Godzilla 1955 "Hibernation" (Glitter Gray & Black)
Like Bandai's Glitter GMK Godzilla, the glitter is mixed into the vinyl and the black paint applied to the inside, the white paint on the outside. Cool concept, but I don't care for the blue eyes:

Marmit Monster Heaven Glow Godzilla 1954 Illustrated
Another figure I never thought I'd get because the sculpt is just so darned weird. However something about the colors and the way the hands and head stand out so much caught my eye. I get a laugh every time I look at this thing:

Sunguts Glow GMK Godzilla & Baragon
This is the 3rd version of these figs I've got. I still like the gray Godzilla the best, but these glowies are nice too:

More to come soon!
