As long as their have been Kaiju movies, Mexicans have been making Masked Wrestling movies -- Luchadores Enmascarado (masked wrestlers) are the true superheroes of Latin America, and like all superheroes, eventually they have encountered monsters and vampires. There have been numerous movies made since the 1950s, and they peaked in the 1970s (kind of like Toho's monster cycle). If you like outrageous entertainment, some of it jaw-dropping, and are slightly intrigued by the concept of Masked Wrestlers fighting monsters, you'll dig these movies!
