I can understand it too, in a way. Godzilla was one of the biggest reasons that I survived cancer, IMO. When I was in the hospital (I was about 5) I watched Godzilla movies (and Homeward Bound
) over and over again. That was in 1994 and '95 or thereabouts... if I had heard that Godzilla was slated to die in Destroyah at that time, I probably would've died along with him.
