Thanks for the breakdown Ben.
Those returns don't look that bad when compared to their production budgets.
Whether or not they are good profits is a matter of personal opinion I suppose.But they look ok to me for low budget films.
Interesting how the Gross hovers around $13,000,000. That pretty much spells out the number of regular G fans seeing the movies. If I knew what the average ticket price was. I could divide that into the average Gross. And get the average audience size.
It seems pretty small. But if ticket prices are low that could boost the numbers a little bit.

I agree with you. And there in lies the problem.
The design of the Godzilla character is really cool. But If you update Godzilla to the point where today's audiences will be interested again. He won't really be Godzilla anymore. He'd be something else. Hence Godzilla is his own worst enemy when it come to future productions.
