The Board is Down with no repair ETR. My apologies but we don't have the money or resources to repair the issue. It is broken on the back-end and is only here to view as an archive. Thank you for your years of patronage.
I like the way the original title "Gigantis the Fire Monster" looks on screen over the look of the "Godzilla Raids Again" title screen, but as far as the actual titles go, I'd have to say I much prefer "Godzilla Raids Again"...the name's GODZILLA for crying out loud, not Gigantis!
GIGANTIS is the name of the Americanized movie, so let's keep it that way. GRA is the title of the original Japanese movie.
I prefer the more accurate translation GODZILLA'S COUNTERATTACK, but what do I know. Toho has gone all GRA all the time, so officially we do have two different movies with the same title.
To keep things nice and sparkling clear, I'll keep GTFM for the American movie and GRA for the Japanese movie.

That's correct. These are just slightly altered standard Wehrmacht uniforms. The insignias presumably reflect the ranks of the Japanese guests, but it is difficult to clearly identify them.
Oh wow, I didn't know there was a different title card for Gigantis when it was shown on TV!
.. I prefer the "Godzilla Raids Again" title card.
It'll be interesting to see what version Classic Media manages to find to include on their GRA DVD, since it'll probably have to be from a video master.
I prefer the video-generated title. Only because Godzilla is in the movie(at least that is what he called in the movie) and therefore Godzilla should belong in the title of the movie. Gigantis The Fire Monster is an okay title however. Nothing against it.
