I dig the idea. But mine has always been a little more specific:

Any and every monster show and series ever made. Period. Any monster, any time. Frankenstein, Gamera, Yog, Killer Klowns (okay, it'd be weird but doable), Critters, etc. Every movie we've ever mentioned here, every series, and any others we've either forgotten or have never heard of. I would get ALL licenses available so i could show an English version of a movie one block, and its original language version (as needed) the next block.

Tuesday would be 'turtle' day. All Gamera, all the time.

Thursday would be 'three headed menaces' day. And maybe any monster series that made it to three sequels (the third installment of MechaGodzilla, for example).

Saturday would of course be cartoon heavy. Perhaps an all day affair, just to be certain.

One of the days would be dedicated to the fans, in blocks. There'd be a call-in/chat-in style show where you could sound off and possibly square off on monster issues. Kaiju art from viewers and interviews with the artists. An MST3K-style review show, along with Misty itself so viewers can label all the films as they see fit. I see this one as being the prime draw - there can be a contest associated with it so different viewers can be invited to 'sit in the theater' and screen the showing each episode.

In essence, this message board on TV.

And one of the days would be dedicated to real monsters, fact and fiction. Dinosaurs, Bigfoot, etc.

But most important, to not lose sight of the prize - we are Monsters first and foremost. No wandering to the outer reaches of the genre and beyond.

Now to just get it off my pirate cable channel and on prime time....
