Labeling him as a weak adversary in GRA is foolish. Anguirus '55 was one of the most fearsome opponents Goji has brawled with.

I prefer him as an ally. I loved him in Godzilla vs. Gigan. His loyalty to Godzilla is very strong, giving him a "sidekick" feel to him. He may get beat up a lot, but his determination and loyalty make up for it 100%. I always loved him because he never gives up, even when he knows he's gonna get his ass kicked.

When I was very young, I thought Angillas and Gamera were the same! How funny is that?

Anyways, I've alwasy LOVED Angillas. I can't really explain why, there's just something about it. And having him return for Final Wars had to be the hightlight of the entire movie for me to be honest! He was pure awesomeness! I only wish he, Rodan, and maybe even King C. had shook off the alien control and shown up for the final battle against kaiser Ghidorah...that would have been awesome.

Angillas may not be the most powerful kaiju, but he's interesting, full of personality, and definately a strong ally in that he's always persistant and trying his hardest.
