Somebody bought a model kit of this fella and now wants to know what he's from. I've never seen him before, but I'd guess he's from a TV show:

Wow!, looks cool, like a futuristic Imperial Japanese soldier set up for gas warfare (note the helmet star and chrysanthemum chest crest). The image is backwards, even once flipped, I cannot read the Kanji but the Katakana, reads as "ro-i-do" - Android?? Do you have more of the image text?
