Bandai 2005 Godzilla SD set
Not bad. A major improvement over the Kaiju Oh Kurabu set. The G'55 vs Angilas, G'62 in the iceberg, G'66 vs Ebirah (with Ebirah's claw in his mouth), GxM and GxMG figures are the best. The tall building with a barely-identifiable Godzilla at the bottom and the G vs SG figure are the big losers. The GMK Godzilla vs Baragon figure is a great concept that just didn't quite work out, they're just a bit too small to have the nice detail of the best figures in this set. :th-up:
CCP Hedorah glow blue-eyed version
Just got this off Yahoo Japan through a bidding service. I would have saved a lot of money if I'd bought it when it first came out, but the pics didn't do it justice. It's a cool sculpt, and the colors on this blue-eyed glow version really look great.
Iwakura mini Bullmark Godzilla, Angilas, and MechaGodzilla color variants
Eh, nothing special here. The Godzilla is charcoal gray instead of blue and the silver paint is applied very haphazardly. MechaGodzilla is a realistic silver color, and Angilas is almost the same color as the normal one. Not bad, just not exciting.
Bandai/Tomy Toys Dream Project set
The 6" Forever Burning Godzilla is done really well. I expected to like it, and it's even better than I thought it would be. The red paint on the body is much darker than I thought it would be, and it really stands out.
The Burning Godzilla dancing kigurumix figure is okay. It's well painted, but the motion isn't anything to get excited about.
B-Club glow Bullmark reissue Giant Godzilla Hyper Hobby exclusive
Last but not least, a painted glow version of the B-Club Bullmark reissue Giant Godzilla. I was excited about the mini Iwakura version that came out as a giveaway in Hyper Hobby, but that's nothing compared to this 13" version. The colors are very faithful to the original (although in lighter shades, obviously, to not interfere with the glow effect) and unlike the other B-Club versions this one even comes with a Tokyo Tower. Two glowies in one! :color:
