Well, lots of new arrivals over the past week:
Godzilla v. Hedorah Japanese 1 sheet
Signed by Banno. Pretty rockin', and in mint condition. You know, minus the signature.
Iwakura Godzilla Deluxe 1
I haven't had time to actually open and look at all of the figures, but MAN. Iwakura used boxes on these things that are HUGE. Shipping alone on the set was over $20. The packaging could have been HALF the size. I did open up the flying MechaG (got that too) and it's a really awesome figure, but then again, all Iwakuras look nice if you're willing to shell out the dough. There was also a flyer featuring an upcoming Orochi figure from
Three Treasures.
Bandai High Grade Chronicle 2
Pretty much what it is. I haven't bothered opening and assembling these either. I'm sure I'll have more to say about it once I'm taking pics for CT. Got the display card as well.
Bandai/Toy Dream Project Meltdown Godzilla
Pretty nice set, though there's not much you can really say about it. Anyone know what the music is that it plays?
Bandai 6" Gigan, Mothra, MechaGodzilla, Godzilla
Godzilla's really the only standout, and is better than the 8 incher. The rest are ho-hum, and really lose something when compared to their 8 inch counterparts. Especially Gigan, even though it's a quasi-new sculpt.
Iwakura Bullmark Yog set
Threee Yog monsters, repainted and bagged together as a set. Cool colors.
Marmit MH Godzilla '71
AWESOME. Continuing marmit's tradition of "best of-", this is the best '71 Godzilla I've seen. Though being a Marmit I know those who like "realistic figures" will absolutely hate it. I mean, it's a MARMIT, in gaudy bright, shiny colors and all of that. If you consider flat black and brown shiny, that is. I'm still waiting on that comparison list, Greg. When I got this I got a big piece of ammunition.
