Size compairson of 360 and original X-Box. A little smaller, but still a bit big.

The sea rose as a wall of sharp spines sliced thru the surface. The water boiled and churned as fish of all species floated on their sides, dead. Godzilla, the demon god had emerged.

New ATI info from TeamXbox:

What are the features you're mostly proud of in the xbox 360 GPU? Did you made any compromises?

"I think the three key features of Xbox 360 graphics technology are as follows: First and foremost we have a “unified shader architectureâ€

This has potential....If only they can get it right, it could meld into a hybrid shooter - like the incredibly awesome Hellgate: London.

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=60389

Highly-placed UK sources have revealed that the Xbox 360 is set to launch in Europe on November 25th, with the US launch preceding a few days earlier - and the price tag may be as high as UKP 299... Even allowing for the higher tax rates here in Europe, a UKP 299 price point would directly translate to $500 (including tax) in the US, which is significantly higher than is currently anticipated by most market watchers - among whom the general consensus is that the system will launch at $300, suggesting a UK price point of under UKP 200.

I'm not buying a PSP due to the rip off UK price, so even though I want the 360 more than a PSP I'm not paying £100 more than the US price just so MS can make back some of their loses on manufacturing them and provide US gamers with a better price.

although it was admitted that this pricing is a "best guess" based on information from Microsoft, not an official figure by any means.

It better not turn out to be the official figure although it most likely will... :(

It'll be $300, if not $250. MS has already referred to the expected price as a "pleasant surprise".

They want mainstream badly.
