For the first two, you are probably right. But with the martial law, I don't know. In the recent episode Tigh said that Adama never liked the idea of martial law.

I have returned...okay, dramatic crap aside...

Somebody seriously needs to relieve Tigh of command. If not that no-name, gutless major (who didn' even appear in this episode), then Lee or even Lt. Gaeta should take over. I think D would know something was wrong when Tigh was on the phone.

I heard a possible spoiler, reporting that this storyline takes up the first seven eps of the new season. Also, they may delay showing the second ten until next year (fracking, muther-frackkers!!!!!!!)

But, for good news we may see a living legend in episode nine...

spoiler:

cough*CAIN!*cough

Two more things: they forgot about Kara and Helo, what were they doing on Caprica?

And, what's the difference between our version and the UK's, beside the opening theme. I want to get this NOW.

BTW, the climax on Kobol? Blew...my...fracking...mind...I would have never thought Crashdown would snap and try to kill my Cally! Furthermore, who could have thought Gaius would be a hero(besides Richard Hatch)

Speaking of the REAL Apollo, he should have had a bigger role. Frack (my fav word), have him and Lee steal Vipers! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well, take care all. I'm going to take a little rest after three hours of interstates driving.

Be back in a few hours!

Yeah, but I think she knows the difference between pity drinking and smashing (hitting) the bottles.

I've only seen Michael Hogan on an episode of Monk and BSG. If it's a goal to create an entirely despicable, and unlikeable, then he's pulled it off.

Terry Carter (the original Tigh), may have seen harsh, but it was more like he and Adama were the "father-mother" of the Galactica, and Tigh had to be the stern and disciplinary figure while Adama is more caring and leading.

That's just what I think.

***SPOILERS***

It's also feels very human that they had Adama asked about Apollo. Tigh's reaction was priceless.

End SPOILER

To defend Tigh a bit, he was under alot of pressure, and his wife is manipulated witch. Really, all BSG characters are very well-written, they do feel more like us than mindless atomic-trons.

I taped it, but I've been busy. So I'll watch tonight or tomorrow.

Caught the end though? Holy crap...who thought Cally would do a Jack Ruby on Cylon Sharon (it does seem like JFK, but Adama lives)

Looks like the father son relationship has gone back down the crapper...

Oh, BTW, Edward James Olmos came into my store today. Man, he wanted A LOT of deli meat...

Saw tonight's episode and was very impressed by how everyone handled themselves. At first I was a little irritated by Adama but he really impressed me at the end when he asked for access to data on Kobol.

Was surprised by the conversations between Lee and Kara and amused at what Lee revealed by accident and how Starbuck jumped at him on that in terms of making jokes.

As expected, they ran into company on Kobol and was stunned by the fact that Priest Elosha was one of the first to buy it in the form of a Cylon land mine.

Next week will really be interesting. Here's to hope that the gang will succed in finding the Tomb of Athena and getting the hell out of there with as little loss as possible.

Just saw tonight's episode and it was pretty interesting, especially with the addition of a new weapon into the Galactica's arsenal (can't wait to see the new stealthship armed with a nuke fly right down the throat of a basestar).

One of the more surprising things was Sharon helping the others cripple the Cylon strike force via use of the same means the Cylons used to cripple and destroy the Colonial fleet in the mini-series. I wouldn't be surprised that for all the Viper pilots when they slaughtered them that they thought of their dead comrades and yelled out to the Cylons "This is payback for what you did for our comrades in arms". :D

Next week is an episode we'll really be looking forward to, the return of the Pegasus, under the command of a new Cain this time and she goes by the name of Admiral Nelena Cain (acted by Michelle Forbes of ST: TNG fame (she was the bajoran ensign by the name of Ro Lauren))

One of the pilots did say outloud "this is payback".

Not sure why nobody is talking about this. But I can't wait to see what happens to Lt. Geata.
First he hands something to Sharon then she shoots Adama.
Then he creates a so called "Firewall" to block the Cylons yet they manage to plant a virus anyway.

The guy is a Cylon. And he is in the center of the biggest events taking place on the ship. Including the new stealth ship. Whatever he knows the Cylons know. He's the most pivital Cylon agent in the series.
He's gonna have to be revealed at some point. That's what I'm waiting for the most.

I absolutely love this show but I'm having some problems with that last episode "Flight of the Phoenix".
First, what happened to them going to Earth. They have the directions, get going! Why are they sitting in one place long enough for the Cylons to find them in every episode. There probably IS and explanation, but the writers need to give it to us.
Also, I don't understand why they brought Sharon to the bridge. They all acted surprised when she sent out a signal to the Cylon attack force and dissabled them. If they didn't know she was going to do that why did they take her out of the brig? They don't need her help to erase their own computer's hard drives. And of course, now they are going to be all happy and trusting of her when she probably just downloaded a copy of her self into their computers to use them later. Seems like anything that happens to the fleet is actually part of the Cylons plans.
Another thing is, why did they waste their ammo and risk their pilots on attacking the dissabled Cylons? They should have just jumped away. Everyone of those Cylon ships will be replaced much faster than any of their ammo. They never just jump away when Cylons come, anymore.
And what happened to them going to Caprica to save the people Starbuck said they'd go back for? And what's going on with Baltar's tests and finding the other eight Cylons that are in the fleet and all the other plot points they just seem to drop every week to go off on some tangent.
Signatures are stupid and annoying.

Just saw the new episode and I was stunned especially with the sight of Colonial forces about to kill each other and the shocking and perhaps brutal behavior of Admiral Cain and the Pegasus crew. What should have been a joyous reunion is about to turn into a nightmare for the fleet and Cain's actions along with that of her crew would perhaps give good credence to the desire of the Cylons to annhialate humannity.

Sorry to be a pessimist but if I was a betting man, I'd place my bets on the Pegasus winning since she is an advanced battlestar that has seen much more action and from what I saw, she carries a full compliment of Viper Mark VIIs piloted more experienced pilots who are also even more angry enough to fight.

And we have to wait till January to see the results.
