yeah, i saw DAM at age 8 or so, and it was the greatest movie ever since it had all those monsters. i can understand why fans would (wrongly ) think it was overrated though. i didn't know much about the movie when i saw it, so all i knew was Godzilla was in it.

Heh. Agreed, but there's a lot to be said for colourful films too. One of the reasons I like the 70's flicks is that colours are so vibrant that they almost jump out at you. Same goes for 'Destroy all Monsters'.
