As I mentioned above, applications are taken for extras in "Gamera: Little Braves".
Not that I think anyone here is able to participate, or that I would like to see a lot of westerners as extras in the film, but the information for the applicants might be of interest anyway:
Planned filming period: from 22 june 2005 to second third of july.
Time of the day: As a standard, from morning til sunset, though variations can occur.
Eligible people: Both children and adults of all ages are welcome, but you should be able to come to the gathering place by yourself.
Conditions: Lunch will be served (when filming in the evening, dinner will be served.)
After the filming, you will be presented with a specially made souvenir.
Roles: People from the village, policemen, japanese self-defence force, etc.
Scenes: Running away from kaiju scenes, scenes with evacuated people/people finding shelter, ordinary every-day life scenes, etc.
Locations: Throughout the Iseshima district.
Advice: Asking the actors for souvenirs, handshakes, autographs and similar things is not acceptable conduct. Photographic equipment, cellphone cameras included, is prohibited. People not following this could be suspended from participation.
Application: Application forms can be filled out at various places in Iseshima, for example the municipal office, and applications can also be sent in by fax and by mail.
Application forms can be downloaded
here.
We do accept applications also from people who do not include a photo.
Enquiry made by: The Iseshima tourism organisation and The Iseshima film commission.
