Though it is technically not lost, but the full version is, was Willis O'Brien's first feature film "The Ghost of Slumber Mountain" from 1919. What exist now is just 10 minutes of footage (and I think it's even much shorter than that) with the two campers (supposedly, one of them is played by O'Brien) stumbling into a cabin and then one of them later sees the ghost of the previous occupant and he shows him a some kind of looking device and when you see through it, you can view the prehistoric past, which of course includes dinosaurs!
