Alien vs Predator 2... is a go!

News from says that AVP2 is in the works.

No news on who is involved, but it has been said it's probably going to be in a populated area, or at least not deserted like Antartica.

I hope that Mr. Anderson stays away from it and the the "company" lets the rating go back up to what it should be. I got hopes for this one, but in due time I'm sure it will be widdled down to nothing but more seething hatred for Hollywood.

Well, one thing is for certain, and that's that it couldn't be any worse than the first AVP...my first (and so far only) drive-in experience was watching "Anchorman" and "AVP" back-to-back...not the worst possible first trip to the drive-in, but it certainly could've been better, though. Nothing would beat getting to see some classic G movies at the drive-in, or even just some "B" movie drive-in "classics" of any type...speaking of the drive-in, does anyone happen to know if there is a compilation available ANYWHERE, on either VHS or DVD, that contains all those classic drive-in promo ads (you know, with the cartoon hotdogs, fries, etc.)? If there is one available somewhere I'd DEFINITELY be interested in getting a copy of it. :D

I remember going to see Back in School at the drive in as a kid back in 1986. Playing on the screen behind us was Aliens, and despite the fact that I could not hear it I spend more time watching that over the movie we paid to see. Ahhh, memories.

I've no problem with Ripley being in a future Alien film, but it'd have to be pre-Alien 3. I despise Clone Ripley with a passion.

AVP2? Ugh...what a steaming load that's sure to be.
