I still remember your response to the first good trailer we saw:
I hope you do a comic in relation to your actual viewing of the film!
Personally, I wouldn't call it the best of the Godzilla series. There are better-made ones out there, but it is definitely one of the most entertaining. Could of used more satisfying monster appearances, though. Otherwise, a fun romp from start to finish.

Sounds like a good idear [sp].
One thing that has dissappointed me is the lack of Bandai Island sized Final Wars kaiju like Hedorah and King Caesar. Those were two I was really hoping would get made.

I got myself a "Thailand Import" yesterday and thought the movie was much better then what I thought it was gonna be. Emerson's scoring didn't fit most of the time(altho sometimes, rarely throughout the movie it worked). Of course I did like the techno score to it.
The action was good. I would have spent more time on the monster fights tho.
Over all, this gets a 4 out of 5, nd that's only because of the Emerson score, and the fact the version I've seen has no english subtitles.

The only import I have is a "Honk Kong Import". One of the chapters repeats, but it still kicks butt. The American in the movie has a surprisingly strong role.
