I can just see some Hollywood CEO with a IN and WILL FERREL box on his desk that he tosses scripts into at random.

what makes the original show "cheesy"? the effects were top notch at the time, the stories were written by established writers, the actors were all earnest in their portrayals.
what does make something "cheesy"?

again, all i asked was what made something "cheesy" to which you didn't really define cheese. i pointed out the positive aspects of the show (and others did as well) while you went the other route.
everything to someone will be considered cheesy, no matter what it is, since cheese won't be defined to mean anything in particular.
besides, i can't stand yellow cheese, it's mozzeralla for me all the way!

My god you are right Buck! LOTL might be the closest to hard Sci-Fi tV has ever had!

Hmmm///maybe the approach of the new Dr Who is how the LOTL movie should go? If Will Ferrel is hopping this will be his gateway to serious roles...... well I doubt it.
