I just saw the first episode of the 2nd season and it was wicked fun. Chaos abounds everywhere as the results of 1st season come about with Tigh in command.

Although put under maddening pressure (he admited as much that he never wanted command) he manages to hold himself together.

It tops off with a monstrously good battle scene between Galactica and a Cylon Basestar and ends with some uninvited metal guests aboard the Galactica.

Another great episode with Lee "Apollo" Adama and the others getting rough and dirty with the Cylon Centurions. Also, some very grim scenes of death and an air of madness and unreality all around. :D

I had to have a small laugh at Tigh's final comment as he watches Lee leave the sickbay and head back to his cell.

It was...juicy. I was disturbed when they showed Adama with the baby. For once, it seemed like Gaius wasn't the (only) madman around. Also, I'm glad Billy and Dee are getting together.

Pres. Roslin is becoming more like a female Adama, maybe she is becoming like a mortally wounded lion and just inherently hostile.

Question, if Billy is locked up with Roslin, why is he walking around, unescorted, in the beginning? Is he not considered part of the mutiny and allowed to still roam free? Or is he just not considered as high a risk as Lee or Roslin.

Also...APOLLO RETURNS!!! Note, I mean the real Apollo (Richard Hatch, not that freaky nudist from or (thank God for censors!) I hope he appears more in BSG.

It's doubtful if Dirk Benedict will return. I heard he was extremely displeased to have Starbuck turned into a woman. But, he was having a friendly stogie with Katee Sackhoff in a pub pic.

DIRK AND RICHARD RULE!!!!!

After seeing tonight's episode, I have to say this about Colonel Tigh.

He is a Fr****** idiot. Watch the last scene in tonights episode and you'll understand what I mean. :x

Commander Adama, get well soon old man since even though you and your son are on somewhat bad terms, both he and the president need your help right now

(also find a way to flush Ellen Tigh out into space please).
