For the first time in my 47-year life, I had the opportunity to view a complete El Santo movie last week. I have seen snippets form various Santo films over the years on various compilation tapes, but never a complete film; I have always been hugely intrigued. Last week I watched El Santo, the Silver-Masked One vs. the Martians and I gotta say I was very pleased and am hooked on El Santo! The b&w print used for the DVD is nearly impeccable. The film is presented in widescreen aspect ratio, though I am not sure if it is true to the original aspect ratio of the film. The DVD is in Spanish with removable English subtitles.
On the negative side the subtitles are kind of BIG, but I got used to it after a very short while. Additionally, the main navigation/title page was not authored very well, at least for my player, and most times you have to sit thru a somewhat time-consuming animated scene of a flying saucer before getting the on-screen choices to appear. Other than that, the DVD is great in my opinion, and cheap at DeepDiscountDVD.
It seems right now that El Santo is getting pretty good treatment on US-released DVDs of various sorts. A plethora of titles have been released this year with more to follow.
My question is, since this is not necessarily the best forum for discussion of El Santo, can anyone point me to a Yahoo Group or other where the exploits of the Silver-masked one are discussed?
Your help appreciated.

P.S. Apologies for the non-kaiju post, but I was emboldened by the plethora of other non-kaiju posts here of late.
