Y'know, all of these naysayers talk about how they aren't interested in a Godzilla remake--even if it done correctly as Brizilla suggested. But the truth is each and every one of us will be the first people in line, giddy with excitement to see that movie.

The Lost World was a book to movie thing, and it wasn't meant to be a remake of the old silent film....unless there's a different Lost World movie out there that IS a remake of the old one...

and i like someone else said will probably only go see Kong in theaters to say ive seen a Kong movie in theaters

there was a remake of THE LOST WORLD in 1960, which was a waste of a good cast- kind of a LOST WORLD IN NAME ONLY thing even back then. and there has been at least one tv movie of it in the recent past. if Chrichton is such a good writer, how come he couldn't think of any original name for the second book/movie?
i just think it's funny that some people here don't want a Godzilla remake, but a Kong one seems to be a good thing. just funny how fandom works, eh?
