The two Pictorial Books, if you can find them. The first book, published in 1995, covers just the Godzilla suits made between 1954 and 1994. The second book, published in 1996, covers all of Tohos monsters up to and including everything from Godzilla vs Destroyah. They're both out of print and hard to find, but are both HIGHLY reccommended.

What's the name of the second book you mentioned? Also are there any Gamera books like these Godzilla books?

Try Ebay or clawmark toys. Unfortunately, I used to live in the midwest like yourself (originally from Missouri, which is the ultimate kaiju hell), and be it MI or MO, it's impossible to find good G items in the midwest/north midwest, let alone Godzilla books.
