One of the most absurd changes to KK vs G is the removal of Ifukube's score, with the exception of the Farou Island chant.

As a kid I always wondered why it sounded so different from the rest of the Kaiju films.

:D Funny I got kicked out of the other boards just because I didn't like how other Kong fans were portraying Godzilla as a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!".

Those kong loving boards. :x (it was a Godzilla board anyway and people just didn't like me talking about kong)

I wouldn't use the "R" word to describe Godzilla in the movie, but he was the lesser of the 2 to use his mind in combat. Still, Godzilla had some moments of displaying his intelligence... I can't think of any right now so I'll get back to it later. :D

^^what about when Godzilla turned his back to Kong, tricking him into charging from the rear and Godzilla makes a swift turn around to deliver a head butt to the gut and a drop kick. Priceless! On a different note, I was watching the "Godzilla and Other Movie Monsters" tape the other night and it seems that there was indeed a Toho english dub for the film. I thought that "international" dubs did not occur until the mid sixties, but there is a segment in the tape that shows comparisons of the same scenes in both english (not the Universal dub) and japanese. I wish it was possible to get a legit copy but as long as Universal holds the rights, it'll never happen.

I hate the US version. It's one of the only G-films that could put me to sleep.

I remember re-watching it sometime last year and upon seeing the Kong puppet, I thought "WHOA!!! Nicholas Cage is in this movie?!?" :lol:
