Manga edition of GOTU

Spinning flame-jetted turtles, space birds being chopped up like bologna, kids in shorts screaming for help...the original Gamera series was a strange mix of wacky fun!! The 90's Gamera films set a standard that other kaiju films are measured against! Discuss Gamera films here!!

Manga edition of GOTU

:o I was going to ask if the ADV edition was different to the Manga edition! I have both video and DVD editions of the UK Manga release, the techno soundtrack is a little annoying since it essentially occurs throughout the movie, but in the battle / attack scenes I have to say it works really well. That´s saying something given that I loathe techno music.
Presumably the English dub is the same for both editions?

Thanks A LOT James! I find the techno music (I'm assuming that's what they call it, no? I apologize, my knowledge of music is as good as my Japanese: not good) more appropriate during the Gamera vs. Gyaos sequence then Otani's music, quite honestly.

Now, can you inform your friend Derek there is a kid in Minnesota who wants a copy? Or can anyone direct me to a link at a auction site? Wee!

Y'know, I recall reading in an article of SFX magazine about the UK release of Gamera: GOTU that Arrival Films (who actually did the dubbing and music changes - Manga just released it) were planning to release their soundtrack to the movie. I also recall them mentioning that they had first option (or something like that) to Gamera 2...
