Ummmm....it aint on kazaa or suprnova, that's for sure.

oh, I think I've discovered the movie's genre:

Sci-Fi/Action/Romance

I translated from a japanese movie news site.....i'll post the link when I can find it...

Also, I found out that the tentative length for the movie is 95 mins...........Hope that's enough for the story.

Also, there'll be a brief press conference on Ultra 2005 sometime in the coming months...and maybe Ultra USA ;)

Oh, on the topic of Ultra USA, nothing's set yet, but a contact of mine claims that Tsuburaya is making rounds here in the states and talking with several production studios regarding the international rendition of Ultraman. Word is the NEW owner has a script and plans on bringing his Ultraman to the big screen in a few years. Also, it seems this will be the long-rumored "Muay Thai" Ultraman, and will return to his pre armor self. Oh, and it'll be CG enhanced.....

I'l find the I-Net article where he talks about this and post it.....I hope my contact's right, or else I'm screwed.....:P

I got goosebumps reading that decription......Thanks a bunch kpa!!!!!!

It sounds too darn interesting to pass up and it sounds like they went for a realistic edge with this movie...

The last movie I saw, Ultraman Cosmos 2, was too soft-hearted and kiddie to be taken seriously...This, however is the kind of Ultraman movie I've wanted to see for a while - no futuristic peoples with Ultraman on their team (not that I have something against Ulraman Cosmos, Tiga, or Nexus...I actually like those).

I hope it comes over here one way or another....as long as whoever aqcuires it keeps it intact......I know people who saw the original series religiously, and were thrilled to know that a big-budget movie had been made.

But please tell me kpa, for curiosity's sake, - are the special effects up-to-date or better/worse than we see in the trailers?

I like that synopsis, sounds great to me.

SPOILER WARNING

Since it takes place in a new timeline, an Ultraman neophyte like me should have no troubles getting introduced to the series (though it will no doubt contain some homages and such that will go over my head).

END SPOILER

I'm still way more excited about Final Wars, but I'm going to keep my eye on this one. Will it come to Region 1 DVD?
