Godzilla's Most Powerful Ally

Who do you to consider to be Godzilla's most powerful ally from the Showa series?

I think it's Zone Fighter (who's more or less an Ultraman), followed by Rodan (who proved to be Godzilla's equal in Ghidrah).

My vote gos to Rodan. Rodan could defeat KG alone, But Mothra won't because she alone is weak agaknst monsters like KG , Gigan, MG

it's Zone Fighter, he drove off Ghidrah all by his lonesome.
i'd rate Jet Jaguar and King Shisa high as well, since we never got to see everything they were capable of (or a higher budget would have allowed!).

I think its Zonefighter. I mean look at the guy he was powerful enough to fend off some pretty powerful foes. And like Megaloman said he drove off Ghidrah by himself.

As much as Id like to say Angilas, its almost definately Zone Fighter. Followed by Rodan. Though this up and coming Fire mothra may take top spot overall.

Does anyone else listen to Kajagoogoo's "Too Shy" and think of "Save the Earth?"

Well, if this thread wanted us to discuss Godzilla's most trust-worthy ally, Anguirus would've received my vote. But the 'Old Man' (TitanoGoji) asked us who is Godzilla's most powerful ally?

I'll give you a lame but still cool, in yet still lame answer: Us!

Think of it. Whether you prefer Godzilla as the hero, villain or the anti-hero, during the later Showa movies, the majority of all of us was cheering for Godzilla. Let alone we continued to buy his movies. So admit it, we're not only his most powerful ally (our chants give him the POWER!) but also our money kept making him come back to kick more butt.

....If it hadn't dawned on you by now, the above was sarcasm. Personally, I have to go with Zonefighter too, for reasons already stated. Though Rodan and Jet Jaguar are a close second. Lord Ghidorah's vote to 'King Ghidorah' was unexpected, I wouldn't have thought of it, but his reasons are valid and I'll keep that in mind. But Zonefighter would triumph over Ghidrah--if the writer doesn't have any imagination!

Far and away Rodan.

Why? Anguirus crawled around on all fours. Nothing strong about that. Zone Fighter? Jet Jaguar? Much dolled up as either are, they're still essentially the same - and ain't no human(or the like) creation gonna beat no monster. Mothra? That actually made me laugh just typing. Maybe if there was Fire Retardant Mothra. King Seesar may actually have been a bit more competant opponent than others are willing to give him credit for. Goofy looking, but competent nonetheless.

too bad Zone Fighter defeated Ghidorah on his own to prove that statement wrong.
