Watching the UK trailer yet again, anyone get a 1984 vibe when you see all the birds flying? :D

That was always one of my favorite aspects of 84 and Godzilla lore that was never touched upon again.

Well regardless of how this film turns out, at least the posters have been good.

I think that is my favorite poster so far,
"You ever get the urge? It begins with looking down from 50 stories up, thinking about the meaninglessness of life, listening to the dark voices deep inside you, and you think, 'Should I?... Should I?... Should I push someone off?'"

^Where are these shirts being advertised? Is it only through online stores? It would be nice if local retailers would keep some..

After seeing the toys, the new posters & the international trailer this week I have no worries about a repeat of 98.
The only quibbles I have with the design are minor. Feet still seem too short, the legs look long for the torso & would have liked some bone color on the spines. Otherwise I am happy with their choices. I have lived with the late showa suits and the heisei suits that I didn't love but looked and acted like Godzilla. So far Legendary Godzilla has cleared the look hurdle if it passes the character part I'm fine for this film and possible sequels.
As far as the film goes I think I am in for something special. Seems to have an intriguing plot with beautiful cinematography. I have already seen shots that are the equal to any in this franchise. A Godzilla movie that I will want to put in the blu-ray player again and again.

He really does look a lot like ShodaiGoji in that new poster. I love it.

The Transamerica Building sure looks like it could be an instrument of impalement in that poster. That would be a perfect muto end if they used a classic Showa arm toss.
Probably not going to happen.

Godzilla doesn't look bad at all from behind on that poster. But on that shirt, his face looks cringeworthy. There is almost no snout whatsoever.
